Mythic Realms — turn-based strategy in a world of myth

A complete turn-based 4X match in one sitting. Twelve Realms of world myth.
Polytopia-style rules, independently built. Claim Throne Cities, unlock Lore, lift the Veil, summon your Hero. Ten to twenty minutes, phone in one hand.

The Minotaur · the Hellenes’ forest, mountain and settlement, in their own art

Hellenes
The Quarrelling League
Proud city-states that argue over law, trade and the favour of the gods, and unite only when the ordered world is threatened. They believe greatness is measure imposed on chaos: fields surveyed, citizens counted, ranks drilled. A Hellenic ruler wins by persuading free cities to act as one without ending their rivalry.
Mythic Hero — Minotaur
Beneath their oldest sanctuary the Labyrinth tests rather than imprisons. Complete its rites and the Minotaur follows you — strength mastered by intellect, walking.
Fictional interpretations inspired by historical cultures, religious traditions, literature and folklore — not reconstructions, and not a claim that any source tradition was uniform.
One board. One sitting. Nothing hidden that the rules don’t tell you.
Every match starts on a floating island of faceted land in a deep navy void, most of it under the Veil. You found settlements, harvest Favor, unlock Lore, and push your Domain outward until you meet a rival. Every control on the board says what it will do before you commit — a blocked action names the Lore that would unblock it.

- Realm
- One of twelve playable peoples. Each has its own art, hero, theme and ambience.
- Throne City
- Your capital. Lose it in Conquest and the match is lost.
- Favor
- The one resource. Earned every turn by your settlements, spent on recruits, buildings and Lore.
- Lore
- Knowledge on a 25-node radial tree — Orecraft, Seafaring, Warforging, Statecraft. Every node says what it unlocks before you pay.
- Veil
- The unexplored world: mist over the near tiles, blackout beyond. A Seer or a scout lifts it.
- Domain
- The tiles a settlement controls. Grow it, and the Realm border moves with it.
- Deed
- A named objective — Deed of Discovery, Deed of War, Deed of Prosperity — that raises a Wonder when complete.
- Renown
- Your score. In Saga mode, the only thing that decides the outcome.
- Rival Realm
- An opponent. Up to fifteen, each one a Realm from the same roster you chose from.
- World Beacon
- Four stone towers at the corners of every board. Sighted, never entered; find all four for the Deed of Discovery.
Set the match the way the menu does.
The game’s first screen is a torch-lit hall with twelve standards in a rank. Pick one, adjust the muster roll if you like, and press the horn. Six board sizes plus Auto, six world types, one to fifteen rivals, four difficulties. Continue picks up any saved match exactly where you left it.
Rule Realms in or out of the rival pool. Every rival is a full Realm with its own art and Hero — the same roster you chose from.

Thirty turns. Build, explore, and raise the most Renown. Every Deed counts.

Rivals
Bounded by the board: a Tiny world seats fewer rivals than a Massive one.
Difficulty
Plays fairly. The default match.
Twenty-five Lore, one radial tree
A star radiating from your Throne City. Blue means you can afford it now; green is settled; an outline is somewhere you can’t go yet. Every reachable node carries its own price, so what can I afford is answered by looking.

A roster that reads as whose it is
Each Realm’s warrior, archer, guardian, blademaster, siege engine and champion are drawn in that people’s own arms and armour — the same unit, the same numbers, a different silhouette. Full-health land units march as five-figure squads; damage thins the formation.
Land
Warrior · Rider · Archer · Guardian · Blademaster · Oracle · Siege Engine · Champion · Shadow · Raider
Sea
Transport · Scout Ship · War Galley · Siege Galley · Heroic Barge
And one
The Realm’s Mythic Hero, summoned from a settlement that has earned it.
Deeds raise Wonders
Named objectives, each one a way of playing. Complete a Deed and its Wonder stands on your land for the rest of the match, and in Saga mode the Renown it brings is what decides the outcome.
| Deed of Discovery | World Pillar |
|---|---|
| Deed of War | Gate of Conquest |
| Deed of Prosperity | Hall of Kings |
| Deed of Wisdom | Oracle of Ages |
| Deed of Peace | Altar of Concord |
Mythic Pro
Rivals that read the board and plan — in character.
The classic AI is a deterministic, goal-driven opponent with four difficulty profiles, and it cheats at nothing: it sees only what its Realm can see. Mythic Pro seats a language model in the same chair, behind the same legal-action port. It reads the board, weighs the candidates the rules allow, and picks one — the way a Norse warlord or a Babylonian planner would.
If the service is unreachable, the classic AI takes the seat and the menu says so. Every game stays legal and finishable.
What Pro changes
- Smart AI rivals
- Every rival Realm plays its own doctrine, in its own voice. Same rules, same fog, no extra information.
- Every Realm unlocked
- All twelve standards, all twelve Heroes. Realms can also be unlocked one at a time, or all at once for good.
- Nothing else gated
- Modes, board sizes, world types, difficulties, saves and the Hall of Fame are in the free game. Prices are set in the stores.
Take a seat in the hall.
On a phone, the horn takes you straight to your store. On a desktop, point your camera at the code — it opens mythic-realms.app/download and sends you to the App Store or Google Play.
